Brody McCoy
Growing up in Shoreview MN, Brody has been competing in tournaments all over the country since the age of 4. Attending Mounds View Highschool, he won a team title in 2004 as captain and #1 singles. That same year he placed 3rd in state in doubles. Cross Country running has been another passion and led the team as captain of that team at Mounds View, competing in 2 state meets. A USPTA certified professional the past 20 years, Brody has been running USTA tournaments, JTT/USTA teams, 10 and under programming, and more over his teaching career. While teaching in Louisiana for a 10 year span he won Pro of the year in 2011. Organizing over 80 kids participating in team tennis, he took multiple teams to nationals for JTT and junior davis cup in Georgia.
One of his favorite events as Tournament Director was the Rich Mauti Tennis Classic one of the biggest Mixed doubles adult events in the country, that raises money for cancer research. Currently Brody competes on USTA 4.5 teams, open tournaments, and attends USPTA/Tennis Teaching Conferences all over the country. Dedicated to developing Adult/Junior players of all levels, he is excited to build the Deciding Point Tennis program.
